Minutes of the June 2022 meeting were read by Raven and accepted as read.
The Treasurer’s report was read by Roy.
Correspondence:
2 NALC health benefits reports.
3 Nalc bulletins/ convention updates.
Pins for retirees.
1187 form for new CCA in Tekamah.
1189 for Kim.
Convention credentials.
Old Business:
National convention took place, and new vehicles were introduced.
Summer event for Branch 89 took place June 19th.
New Business:
Elections for branch officers will be on November 3rd.
Fall training will take place in Fremont October 29th and 30th.
Nominations for delegates for fall training are as follows:
Kelly nominated Chad and Clint.
Brian nominated Raven.
Roy nominated Brian.
Vote was passed for delegates.

Kelly made a motion to spend no more than 500$ on hospitality for fall training, Jenny seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Kelly made a motion to increase pay for officers 90$ per quarter. Chad seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Kelly made a motion to allow carriers to use their one free give back (individual day) for annual leave without having to give two weeks notice temporarily. Revisit these terms in one calendar year from first signing. Clint seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Holiday party for branch 89 is set to be scheduled on January 15th 2023.
Brian nominated Raven and Chad to plan the event. Both accepted.
Kelly made a motion to purchase a chrome book for Clint not to exceed 350$. Chad seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Grievances:
Several 12/60 violations and forcing of otdl. Most have been settled.
Air conditioning grievance has been won. Management fixed a/c and has ordered a new unit to be installed in February of 2023.
Matt from Tekamah is pending arbitration.
